Thank goodness the holiday season is behind us. Are you like me and look forward to its being over as much as you look forward to its getting here? We stay BUSY prepping for the holiday season with friends, family, and coworkers; run ourselves ragged getting to 1000 different places in a just a few weeks; have too many late nights or early mornings, and wind up with a stomach bug on Christmas Day evening (yep, that was me this year). I'm definitely ready for some 'me' time.

I have a week off work coming up and that got me thinking about taking a day and spending it on pampering myself. We all need to recharge, and what better time than well on the way into a new year? Schedule in time for you after all your hard work. When you finally have a day to yourself why not pamper yourself with a DIY spa day at home? Read on to see my picks to set the atmosphere for the best day ever!
